Job Title: Production Operator - 1st ShiftJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Production Operator for the 1st shift to operate metal stamping press machines. This role involves manufacturing precision metal components for various industrial applications in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality, and productivity are paramount. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with voluntary overtime opportunities available. Responsibilities • Set up and operate stamping presses. • Remove finished parts from machines and perform visual inspections. • Identify defects and package completed products according to production requirements. • Maintain consistent production output while adhering to quality standards and work instructions. • Inspect parts throughout the manufacturing process to ensure customer specifications are met. • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures. • Support overall shop operations and assist in other departments or with additional responsibilities as needed. Essential Skills • Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures. • Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn. • Team-oriented attitude and flexibility to assist in multiple areas of the shop. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required. • Experience using micrometers and calipers is beneficial but not mandatory. • Ability to operate a sit-down forklift. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
