About this role
Cooks Helper- 6 Hour Position with 30 minute unpaid lunch Shift Hours- 7:45am-2:15pm Location- Moorhead High School- 2300 4th Ave S. Assists in preparation and serving of nutritious meals to customers. Handles the point of sale operation for the Breakfast and Lunch customer service lines. Assists with the cleaning and maintenance of the food service facility and equipment. Communicates promptly and works harmoniously with the Head Cook, FNS Staff, Students and District Staff.
• Prepares food for school lunch program in accordance with the menu, meal count and food production record.
• Serves students and staff from the cafeteria counter.
• Assists in the major cleaning of kitchen areas, storeroom and equipment at regularly scheduled intervals as designated by the supervisor.
• Operates computer at point of sale.
