Front-end Developer (NL/EN) Junior Front-end Engineer Tech stack: React, TypeScript, React Router v7 (Remix v2), Vite, Docker, Sentry, GitLab Fulltime | 32 - 40h/w | hbo/wo level | Headquarters Groningen Start building real apps - and your career At Gomibo, we build a lot of what we use ourselves - especially where custom development adds real value. We rely on open-source libraries where it makes sense, and build our own solutions when off-the-shelf tools fall short. Together, this powers the webshops and tools we use in 30+ European countries. As a Junior Frontend Engineer (Software Engineer I) , you'll contribute to production code from the start, collaborate with others on real features, and steadily grow your skills using the same tools and workflows as the rest of the team. What you'll do You'll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary engineering team that includes frontend and backend developers, product designers, and product managers. You might work on: ● Building UI components in React ● Learning to use GitLab, Vite, React Router v7, and Docker - although we assume basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Git ● Fixing layout bugs ● Collaborating in code reviews and pair programming sessions ● Bringing designs to life and helping polish UX details There's always someone to ask when you get stuck, and we'll help you build confidence in both your code and your decisions. You'll get a designated buddy who will help you during your first period with us and who will make sure that you will have a flying start.
