About this role
You'll join our Network Technical Services team to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage and data cabling systems at client sites across the region. Every job is different, and we need someone who can read a situation, find the right solution, and execute it cleanly.
What You'll Do
Pull, route, terminate, and test CAT6/CAT6A copper and fiber (single-mode and multi-mode) cable in new and existing buildingsInstall and dress copper patch panels; label and test all connectionsInstall cable support structures: racks, J-hooks, and related hardwareMount and connect security cameras, wireless access points, and other low-voltage equipmentTroubleshoot and diagnose voice and data line issuesMaintain accurate documentation of all work performedKeep job sites clean, organized, and hazard-freeKeep company vehicles clean and organized 4+ years of hands-on data infrastructure experienceWorking knowledge of BICSI standards and OSHA requirementsExperience with fiber terminations, copper patch panels, and cable testing equipmentFamiliarity with IP and analog video cablingComfort with hand and power toolsAbility to lift 50+ lbs unassisted, work at heights, and perform physical tasks including climbing, kneeling, and crawlingStrong communication skills and a team-first attitudePrior construction site experience is a plus Why Join ITMC?
