About this role

Salary: £55,000 - 61,000 per year

Requirements: Substantial experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst delivering technology-led change in a complex enterprise systems environment.Strong requirements-gathering and process-mapping skills.Sound understanding of APIs, event-driven architectures and asynchronous integration patterns.Experience working with system and data owners.Understanding of authentication, identity and data classification.Confident communication skills, including facilitating workshops, engaging senior stakeholders and managing competing priorities across multiple projects in an Agile environment.Experience with AI agents, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is advantageous.Familiarity with information governance and regulated environments is advantageous. Responsibilities: Lead discovery sessions and workshops to understand business needs, challenge assumptions and identify automation opportunities.Map current and future processes, highlighting manual steps, inefficiencies and the impact of proposed changes.Capture, document and prioritise functional and non-functional requirements, producing clear briefs for engineering teams.Work with system and data owners to define integration requirements, including APIs, events, data flows and contracts between systems.Shape AI use cases by defining expected agent behaviour, required knowledge sources and criteria for evaluating outputs.Collaborate with engineers to assess feasibility, risks and solution options.Support Agile delivery, write acceptance criteria and help stakeholders validate completed solutions.Stay involved from initial discovery through delivery and ongoing improvement. We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our growing AI and automation programme in a complex enterprise systems environment. You will work alongside business stakeholders, product owners and engineers on solutions involving AI agents, systems integration and process automation, supported by a cloud-native Microsoft Azure platform. Our programme focuses on practical technology projects that improve everyday operations and deliver measurable business improvements. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension, based in London with hybrid working and two days a week in the office. The advertised salary is up to £61,000 per annum.
