Requirements: Were looking for deep expertise in ClickHouse or comparable OLAP technologies, ideally including experience operating multi-tenant analytical systems at significant scale.Were looking for a strong understanding of database internals, query optimisation, distributed architectures, sharding and replication. Responsibilities: Take technical ownership of our large-scale analytical data platform and shape its foundations for next-generation AI-driven products.Design, optimise and scale multi-tenant ClickHouse or equivalent OLAP platforms, addressing sharding, replication, materialised views, query performance and cost efficiency.Build automation, observability and intelligent capacity management to improve resilience, reduce operational overhead and support efficient scaling.Shape the architecture of a secure, multi-tenant Data-as-a-Service platform, enabling immutable data releases, discoverability and efficient access to complex datasets.Build data foundations for agentic AI systems, working with ML engineers to enable secure, scalable and reliable access to platform data.Establish robust tenant isolation, least-privilege access controls and credential management across the platform.Set architectural direction and engineering standards, mentor engineers and line-manage a small team while remaining hands-on.
