Salary: £85,000 - 110,000 per year
Requirements: Strong knowledge of finance systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).Experience with finance system configuration, customisation and administration.Knowledge of database management and workflow management.Familiarity with integration platforms and APIs connecting D365 with other enterprise systems.Understanding of SaaS, COTS and cloud-based technologies.Proven track record of delivering complex product roadmaps and projects on time and within budget.Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficiency in project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello or MS Project.Desirable: At least 5 years experience in product management, project management or a related role.Desirable: Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.Desirable: PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum certification.Confident, self-motivated approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships across the business.Ability to take ownership, manage multiple priorities and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Flexible, positive approach and commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Responsibilities: Own our finance technology landscape, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.Oversee the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of finance systems, ensuring our technology solutions support wider business objectives.Manage and coach a small team of technical analysts, lead cross-functional teams and work with business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors.Identify opportunities to use D365 and associated technologies to improve efficiency, productivity and business performance.Lead Product Councils and develop and maintain product roadmaps and project plans, including timelines, milestones and deliverables.Track project progress, manage risks and mitigation strategies, and coordinate with development, QA and other teams to support product delivery.Work across the business to identify and prioritise product features and enhancements that improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, revenue, cost, productivity and profitability.Conduct market research and competitive analysis, and ensure product goals align with our business and technology strategy.Serve as the primary contact between the product team and stakeholders; communicate roadmaps, status, risks and issues to stakeholders and senior management.Gather and prioritise requirements, and manage vendor relationships supporting the development, maintenance and security of finance platforms.Lead and motivate cross-functional teams; facilitate Agile stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives; and support effective collaboration and communication.Ensure products meet quality standards before launch, work with QA teams on testing strategies, and oversee resolution of testing issues and bugs.Identify and implement process improvements, analyse delivery performance using metrics and KPIs, and apply relevant industry best practices.Develop and maintain product documentation, release notes and technical documentation.Manage project budgets, monitor expenditure and budget performance, and address variances.Ensure product delivery aligns with customer needs; gather and analyse customer feedback to inform future development; and collaborate with customer support teams on post-launch issues. We are hiring a permanent D365 F&O Lead based in Ipswich or London, with a hybrid schedule of 2–3 days onsite per week. The salary is up to £100,000 per annum, plus a car allowance. You will take ownership of our finance technology landscape and help ensure our systems and associated technologies support business objectives and improve performance.
