Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Team Manager to lead the South East Wandsworth Integrated Recovery Hub (IRH). This is a key leadership role within our Community Mental Health Service, providing operational and clinical oversight to a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to adults with complex and enduring mental health needs.
As Team Manager, you will work closely with the Clinical Service Lead, Clinical Manager, fellow Team Managers, Psychology and Medical colleagues, as well as partner organisations across health and social care. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care while supporting the continued transformation of community mental health services.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be an experienced mental health professional with proven leadership and management skills, committed to delivering high-quality community mental health care and supporting service improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
o Providing operational leadership and day-to-day management of the South East Wandsworth Integrated Recovery Hub.
o Leading, supporting and developing a multidisciplinary workforce to deliver evidence-based, recovery-focused interventions.
o Ensuring effective staff supervision, appraisal, performance management and workforce planning.
o Driving quality improvement initiatives and supporting the ongoing transformation of community mental health services.
o Maintaining high standards of clinical governance, risk management and safeguarding practice.
o Monitoring service performance, data quality and key performance indicators to ensure delivery of national and local targets.

Job description Job responsibilities
To be responsible for the smooth and effective operational management and co-ordination of the Community Rehabilitation Team.
To lead on all team rehabilitation areas including step downs, supporting discharge, enabling least restrictive practice, promoting recovery and positive engagement with the wider community including the voluntary sector.
To support and work closely with the South London Partnership Complex Care Programme enabling step downs, improving pathway and interface issues and always promoting recovery.
To work in close partnership with the multi-disciplinary team to actively promoting team working.
To have regular co-ordination meetings with the team to ensure that the separate elements of team accountabilities are fully addressed including Zoning meetings to ensure those service users with high needs and risk receive the appropriate level of intervention and support.
To hold full managerial responsibility for all individual CMHT staff members (excluding the doctors) ensuring the various disciplines work within an agreed operational policy and providing support and consultation in the process.
To work closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist, to ensure that all medically qualified members of the team adhere to operational policies and fully engage in the multi-disciplinary process.
To manage and supervise administrative and secretarial staff in the team.
To ensure that all performance information identified as necessary is collected according to the timescale required.
To ensure systems are in place to manage intake, allocation, caseloads and clinical review in the team.
