Millwright- Start ASAP- Weekly PayLocation: Baltimore, MarylandPay: $25-$35/hour Hours: 7 days/week, 10 hour days We are seeking skilled millwrights to join our team at a coal-fired utility plant in Baltimore, MD for a temporary 6 week project. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical mechanical equipment that supports plant operations. Candidate must be okay working at heights and within confined spaces.Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, valves, and conveyors. • Perform precision alignments using laser alignment and other measurement tools. • Inspect, disassemble, rebuild, and reassemble mechanical equipment during scheduled outages and maintenance projects. • Replace bearings, seals, shafts, couplings, belts, and other mechanical components. Essential Skills:
• OSHA 10 certification and confined space training. • Ability to traverse stairs and ladders. • Comfortable with working at heights and in poorly lit or small spaces. • Ability to understand work instructions in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Millwright, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, or related experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. • Experience in using respiratory protection. • Familiarity with safety equipment and protective clothing.
