Job Title: Installation TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Installation Technician for a temporary project lasting 4-6 weeks in Berkeley, CA. This position involves installing soundproofing materials in designated work areas and rooms within an industrial facility. The role offers a pay rate of $30 - $35 with a schedule of Monday-Friday and potential for overtime.Responsibilities
• Measure, cut, and install soundproofing materials. • Use measuring tapes, utility cutters, and common hand tools. • Follow installation plans and work instructions. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Transport materials and supplies throughout the facility. • Collaborate with team members to complete project milestones on schedule. • Adhere to all safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements. Essential Skills
• Experience using hand tools and measuring devices. • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and make precise cuts. • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Proficiency in standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and performing physical work throughout the shift. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in construction, carpentry, installation, assembly, or facilities maintenance. • Acoustic panel or insulation installation experience. • Experience working on project-based assignments. • Ability to read basic drawings or layouts.
