Packager - Weekend Shift (Fri-Sun, 6:00 AM-6:30 PM) Looking for a 3-day work week? Join a growing manufacturing team in a brand-new facility where you'll enjoy a long 4-day weekend every week. No previous packaging experience? If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn, we want to hear from you. Job Overview As a Packager, you'll play an important role in preparing finished products for shipment. You'll inspect parts for quality, package them according to work instructions, and ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and safely. This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates with warehouse, production, packaging, shipping, receiving, assembly, or general labor experience. What You'll Do
• Package finished products according to Bill of Materials (BOM) and work instructions. • Inspect painted parts for defects, damage, or quality concerns before packaging. • Label, organize, and stage completed orders for shipment. • Use wrapping, boxing, and protective packaging materials to ensure products arrive safely. • Read work orders and follow written instructions accurately. • Assist with routine production and packaging tasks as needed. • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Identify and communicate quality or packaging issues to supervisors. What We're Looking For
• Previous experience in packaging, warehouse, production, assembly, shipping/receiving, or general labor is helpful but not required. • Ability to read and follow work instructions. • Strong attention to detail and quality. • Comfortable using basic hand tools or willing to learn. • Able to lift, move, stack, and package materials weighing up to 50 lbs. • Dependable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
