Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob DescriptionOperate stand-up and sit-down forklifts in a warehouse environment to move, stage, and organize materials that support machining operations, while working independently and maintaining a high level of organization and safety. Responsibilities • Operate stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse. • Operate sit-down forklifts as needed to load, unload, and transport materials. • Use an ERP system to track, locate, and update material movements and inventory status. • Work independently in the materials area to ensure timely support for machining operations. • Stay on task with minimal supervision and complete assigned work within required timeframes. • Organize materials and storage areas to maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient warehouse. • Lift and move loads up to 50 pounds as part of daily material handling activities. • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating forklifts and handling materials. Essential Skills • Proven ability to safely operate stand-up forklifts in a warehouse setting. • Experience operating sit-down forklifts for loading, unloading, and material transport. • Basic proficiency with ERP systems for tracking and managing materials. • Ability to stay on task and work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong organizational skills for managing materials and maintaining orderly storage areas. • Capability to lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience working in a materials or warehouse role supporting machining or manufacturing operations. • Attention to detail when handling materials and updating information in the ERP system. • Reliability and consistency in following safety procedures and work instructions.
