Job Title: Warehouse Shipping and Receiving AssociateJob DescriptionThis role supports warehouse operations by receiving incoming materials, preparing and packaging items for shipment, maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organized, and secure. The position requires operating forklifts and scales, stocking production lines, and working independently with minimal supervision in an industrial manufacturing environment.Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against documentation. • Prepare, package, and label items for shipping according to established procedures. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipping and receiving activities. • Assist the warehouse lead receiver with stocking and replenishing production lines. • Perform inventory counting, organization, and stock rotation to support production needs. • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to move, load, and unload materials. • Use scales and other equipment to weigh and measure materials as required. • Keep the warehouse, production support areas, and workstations clean and orderly. • Empty trash bins and remove debris regularly to maintain a safe and tidy work area. • Secure materials, equipment, and the facility in accordance with company procedures. • Read, understand, and follow written and oral instructions provided by the department lead. • Work independently with little or no supervision while meeting productivity and quality expectations. • Perform general labor tasks related to material handling, loading, picking, and order picking as needed. Essential Skills

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. • Hands-on experience with forklift operation and material handling. • Ability to perform packing, packaging, loading, and unloading tasks safely and efficiently. • Experience with inventory counting, organization, and order picking. • Capability to read and follow written and verbal instructions accurately. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity. • Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and organizing materials. • Physical ability to perform general labor tasks, including lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a material handler in a warehouse or industrial setting. • Experience in supporting production lines through stocking and material replenishment. • Familiarity with industrial scales and basic measuring or weighing procedures. • Comfort working in an environment with dust, fumes, dirt, and noise. • Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic in a fast-paced setting. The building does not have air conditioning or heat, so temperatures will vary with the seasons. The role involves frequent exposure to dust, fumes, dirt, and noise, and requires working on the production floor and in warehouse areas. You will regularly operate forklifts and material handling equipment, work around active production lines, and perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting, and general labor throughout the shift. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aumsville, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.75 - $22.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
