Job Title: Yard AttendantJob DescriptionAs a Yard Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our transloading services. You must be able and willing to work safely at elevated heights while following appropriate safety procedures. Responsibilities • Open and close railcar gates. • Put up bulkheads. • Prepare shipping containers. • Install condensation tarps. • Conduct general clean-up tasks. Essential Skills • Experience in general labor and facility operations. • Ability to perform repetitive lifting. • Familiarity with safety procedures. • Experience with machine operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications • General labor experience. • Experience working in outdoor environments. • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. • Physical ability to push, pull, kneel, bend, and reach. The work environment is fast-paced and involves working in and around industrial facilities. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
