Job Title: Assembler Job DescriptionThis role focuses on assembling metal components using hand and power tools to fulfill customer orders in a structured, safety-driven manufacturing environment. You will build metal brackets, operate machinery to unwind copper wire, and carefully wrap the wire around the assembled brackets. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and has recent experience using tools such as drills, wrenches, and tape measures.Responsibilities

• Assemble metal brackets according to work instructions and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality in all completed parts. • Operate machines to unwind copper wire and wrap the wire around the metal brackets in a precise and consistent manner. • Use hand and power tools, including drills, wrenches, and tape measures, to complete mechanical assembly tasks safely and efficiently. • Follow a structured training program and adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines at all times. • Read and interpret blueprints and basic technical documentation to understand assembly requirements and specifications. • Perform basic math and ruler measurements to verify dimensions and ensure components meet required tolerances. • Work on an assembly line or in a mechanical assembly environment to meet production goals and customer order timelines. • Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly handle tools, equipment, and materials. • Inspect assembled parts for defects or inconsistencies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel. • Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement efforts in the assembly process. Essential Skills

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical components and tools. • Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools, including drills, wrenches, and tape measures. • Capability to perform basic math calculations and accurately read a ruler for measurements. • Experience in mechanical assembly, assembly line work, or related hands-on technical roles such as lube technician or mechanic. • Ability to read and understand blueprints or basic assembly drawings. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including standing for extended periods and handling tools and materials. • Attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures and structured training. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Background in lube tech, mechanic work, or other roles involving regular use of hand and power tools. • Experience with coil winding or working with copper wire in a manufacturing or assembly setting. • Familiarity with mechanical assembly processes and working in a production or assembly line environment. • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brown Deer, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
