Production Worker Production Worker - Key Responsibilities
• Package chocolate products safely and efficiently while meeting quality standards. • Prepare and organize packaging materials such as boxes, labels, and supplies. • Monitor production lines and identify issues like product jams, labeling errors, or packaging defects. • Inspect finished products to ensure proper packaging, labeling accuracy, and product quality. • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and PPE requirements. • Handle, move, lift, and organize materials and products as needed. • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment. • Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and quality issues promptly. • Assist with general production duties including packing, labeling, and material handling. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals. Required Qualifications
• Previous experience in packaging, packing, production, or manufacturing environments. • Strong attention to detail for product inspection and quality control. • Knowledge of GMP standards and manufacturing best practices. • Experience with material handling and production support activities. • Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE. • Reliable work history with strong attendance and dependability. • Ability to work 3rd shift: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with GMP standards. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in food, beverage, or consumer goods manufacturing. • Familiarity with labeling systems, packaging equipment, and basic production machinery. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to learn new procedures and adhere to quality standards. • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced production environment. • Consistent performance and attendance with a desire for career growth. • Modern manufacturing facility with approximately 360 employees. • Clean, safe, and temperature-controlled workspace. • Strict adherence to GMP, PPE, and food safety standards. • Fast-paced production environment involving packaging equipment and material handling. • Third-shift schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
