Forklift OperatorJob DescriptionThis role focuses on operating stand-up forklifts in a large distribution warehouse to support inbound and outbound activities, including loading and unloading trucks, picking full pallets, and putting products away. You work with FDA-regulated products, where quality, accuracy, and adherence to procedures are more important than speed. The position offers multiple shift options on both day and night schedules in a modern, semi-climate-controlled facility.Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift, including Crown stand-up and high-reach trucks, to support daily warehouse operations. • Perform inbound and outbound activities, including loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently. • Pick full pallets and dedicated cases using RF scanners and basic math skills to ensure accurate order selection. • Move, stage, and put away products in designated warehouse locations while maintaining accurate inventory counts. • Handle FDA-regulated products with a strong focus on quality, cleanliness, and compliance. • Identify and correct mistakes in orders, inventory, and documentation to maintain high accuracy standards. • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring all guidelines are consistently applied. • Use RF scanners and computer systems to track inventory movements and update records in real time. • Support shipping and receiving functions by verifying counts, labels, and product conditions. • Operate additional warehouse equipment such as electric pallet jacks and other powered industrial trucks as needed. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety rules and reporting any hazards. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals while prioritizing quality over quantity. Essential Skills

• Proven experience operating a stand-up forklift, including loading and unloading trucks. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly during the shift. • Strong computer and RF scanner skills for inventory tracking and order processing. • Stable and consistent work history demonstrating reliability and commitment. • Attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify and correct errors. • Comfort working with FDA-regulated products and following detailed procedures. • Basic math skills to verify counts, quantities, and measurements in daily tasks. • Experience working in inbound, outbound, shipping, receiving, or warehouse environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Experience using SAP or similar inventory management systems. • Hands-on experience with Crown forklifts, stand-up high reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks (EPJ). • Background as a dedicated case picker, order selector, or similar warehouse role. • Strong focus on quality and safety, especially when handling regulated products. • Ability to adapt to different shifts and schedules based on operational needs. The facility is semi-climate controlled and brand new, with air conditioning in the summer and no heat in the winter to maintain product temperatures. The site employs around 40 people, creating a team-oriented environment where safety and quality are central. Multiple shift options are available, including day and night schedules: day shifts typically run 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on SundayTuesday or ThursdaySaturday with every other Wednesday included, and night shifts typically run 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on similar patterns, as well as a 7:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. SundayThursday option. You can expect to use stand-up forklifts, high-reach trucks, RF scanners, electric pallet jacks, and related warehouse equipment throughout your shift while working in a clean, safe, and well-organized facility. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
