Powder Coating Operator (Entry Level) Join Our Team!We are seeking a dependable and motivated Entry-Level Powder Coating Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for preparing parts for coating, loading and unloading materials from conveyor systems, operating powder coating equipment, applying powder coatings in a spray booth, and inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met.Responsibilities:
• Prepare surfaces for powder coating • Load and unload parts on production lines • Perform powder coating application in a spray booth environment • Conduct visual quality inspections to ensure a consistent, defect-free finish • Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards • Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required • Strong attention to detail and quality • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic • Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator Additional Requirements:
• This position requires regular powder spraying in a spray booth. • Employees will receive on-the-job training and, as part of their training progression, must successfully complete a respirator medical evaluation and fit test to be authorized to wear the appropriate respiratory protection. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Haddam, CT. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
