Job Title: 1st Shift CNC Mill MachinistJob Description

• This role focuses on operating and milling details from plate or flat stock on Haas 3- and 4-axis CNC mills according to blueprints and exact dimensions • You will work with various materials and perform set-ups, program downloads and edits, and precision machining operations in a modern, clean manufacturing environment Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints to understand dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements • Operate Haas 3-axis and 4-axis CNC mills to machine parts from plate or flat stock to precise specifications • Perform own machine set-ups, including downloading programs, selecting and installing tooling, offsetting parts, and fixturing workpieces securely • Download CNC programs and edit G&M code as needed using Fanuc-style and Haas controllers to optimize quality and efficiency • Machine a variety of materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, brass, steel, and hardened steel, to meet print requirements • Use digital micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify part dimensions and ensure quality standards • Sharpen and maintain cutting tools to ensure consistent machining performance and surface finish • Perform machining operations such as turning, boring, threading, drilling, reaming, and milling flats and grooves as required for diverse product types Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating 3-axis CNC mills • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings • Strong ability to read digital micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments • Hands-on experience with Haas CNC mills and familiarity with Haas controllers • Ability to edit G&M code and make program adjustments using Fanuc-style and Haas controls • Capability to perform full machine set-ups, including downloading programs, selecting tooling, setting offsets, and fixturing parts • Experience machining a range of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, steel, and hardened steel Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Auburn Hills, MI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
