Job Title: Production AssociateJob DescriptionThe Production Associate plays a key role in safely mixing, monitoring, and packaging chemical batches for customer orders. In this role, you receive raw materials, prepare and mix ingredients according to precise formulas, monitor gauges and equipment during production, and package finished products for shipment. The work involves periods of active batch preparation followed by monitoring and maintaining correct temperatures, mixing speeds, and material levels, with only a few batches produced per shift. Responsibilities • Receive raw materials in the shipping area after the Certificate of Analysis has been approved. • Prepare and mix ingredients according to prescribed formulas for batch preparation. • Mix chemicals to produce products while following all process and safety guidelines. • Monitor gauges, temperature, mixing speed, and material levels during batch processing to ensure proper operation. • Accurately document the mixing process on Process Check Sheets and Production Formula records. • Package finished products in accordance with specifications and prepare them for shipment to customers. • Organize and store raw materials and finished products in the warehouse in an orderly and safe manner. • Perform daily checks on production and warehouse equipment to verify proper functioning. • Perform housekeeping tasks to keep the production area and warehouse organized, clean, and safe. • Operate the water treatment facility as needed to support production and facility operations. • Maintain a cleanroom-ready mindset and follow cleanliness and safety standards in all work areas. • Use hand tools and production equipment safely and efficiently during general production and machine operation tasks. • Collaborate with team members in a small crew environment to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow. Essential Skills • Experience in production, general labor, or general production environments. • Ability to operate machines and production equipment safely and accurately. • Comfort working with hand tools and basic mechanical tasks. • Ability to follow detailed formulas and process instructions when mixing chemicals and preparing batches. • Strong attention to detail for monitoring gauges, temperatures, and mixing speeds during production. • Capability to perform quality control checks and accurately complete process documentation. • Willingness to perform housekeeping duties and maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas. • Ability to operate or learn to operate a water treatment facility as needed. • Reliability in working a consistent 40-hour work week with minimal supervision. • Strong organizational skills for receiving, storing, and handling raw materials and finished products. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Backgrounds in construction, lawn care, or farming are welcome and considered relevant experience. • Experience in cleanroom or controlled-environment work is beneficial. • Previous experience in machine operating, quality control, or labor-intensive roles is an advantage. • Comfort working in a relaxed production setting with periods of active work and monitoring. • Ability to work effectively in a small team and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors. You use production machinery, hand tools, and monitoring equipment such as gauges and temperature controls, and you may operate a water treatment facility as part of daily operations. The team offers flexible scheduling and is willing to work with you if you need prolonged breaks or time off, creating a supportive and accommodating work setting. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabethtown, KY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
