We are hiring Assemblers - Finishing to help build and prepare large sheet metal enclosures for final delivery. This is a great opportunity for candidates with assembly, construction, fabrication, or welding experience who are looking to expand their skills and advance into welding roles. What You'll Be Doing Measure and position large sheet metal components (10-15 feet long) using tape measures and hand tools Perform light tack welding to secure components before final welding Assemble enclosures using bolts, fasteners, adhesives, and hardware Install mechanical and electrical components according to blueprints Touch up paint and complete final finishing work Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and organized work area Work closely with welders and production team members throughout the manufacturing processThe Assembler Finishing role focuses on assembling large sheet metal enclosures and preparing them for final delivery. You measure and position sheet metal pieces, perform light tack welding, and complete finishing tasks such as fastening components and touching up paint. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools, and able to interpret blueprints and shop drawings in a busy manufacturing environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of BATAVIA, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
