Job Title: Production Technician PackagingJob DescriptionThe Packaging Technician plays a key role in supporting visual inspection, secondary packaging, and tertiary packaging activities for parenteral products at various stages of development at a modern manufacturing site in Nashville, TN. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the qualification and start-up of a new aseptic formulation and filling facility, helping to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing operation. The Packaging Technician performs visual inspection and packaging activities in strict compliance with regulatory requirements, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Responsibilities:
• Inspect products like vials, syringes, IV bags, and containers to make sure they are free from defects. • Package products according to company and quality standards. • Set up and operate packaging machines safely and correctly. • Complete paperwork and records accurately. • Follow safety, quality, and company procedures at all times. • Help with equipment testing, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting. • Assist in training team members on processes and equipment. • Work with maintenance teams to keep machines running properly. • Support process improvements to increase efficiency and quality. • Follow all work instructions and GMP guidelines. • Work closely with teammates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with company standards Essential Skills
• At least 1 year of experience working in a pharmaceutical, production, or other regulated environment is preferred. • Previous experience in visual inspection, sterile packaging, clinical trial packaging, or related manufacturing activities is preferred. • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed visual inspection of pharmaceutical products such as vials, syringes, IV bags, and cream containers. • Good documentation skills with the ability to complete batch records and other regulated documents accurately and legibly. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with colleagues across functions. • Good interpersonal skills with a professional, cooperative approach to communication. • Self-motivated with strong learning agility and the ability to quickly absorb new procedures and technologies. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining compliance with cGMP and SOPs. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Comfort working in a GMP-regulated, cleanroom or controlled environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
