Job Title: Process Technician IIJob DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the Process Technician II is to serve as a process subject matter expert for a specific process or department. The role involves safely monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing production processes to ensure effective and consistent output. The Technician will verify that manufacturing processes comply with work instructions, machine parameters, and engineering instructions to produce high quality and compliant products. Process Technician II's are expected to identify and report process breakdowns and make process adjustments within defined parameters. Quick and safe reactions are necessary, always focusing on operator safety and process stability. Responsibilities • Serve as a process subject matter expert for a specific process or department. • Safely monitor, maintain, and enhance production processes to ensure effective and consistent output. • Verify manufacturing processes comply with work instructions, machine parameters, and engineering instructions. • Identify and report process breakdowns. • Make process adjustments within defined parameters. • React safely and quickly, focusing on operator safety and process stability. Essential Skills • Mechanically inclined. • Comfortable with light electrical installations. • Capable of handling light mechanical repairs without involving the maintenance team. • Troubleshooting skills, particularly with extrusion and injection mold machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications • 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or recycle center. • Experience in electrical repairs and general maintenance. • Strong mechanical and math skills. • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment. • Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Work EnvironmentCandidates will be working indoors with a shift schedule of 6am - 6pm for A and B shifts, and 6pm - 6am for C shift. Positions available include Extrusion Process Technician and Injection Molding Process Technician. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conyers, GA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
