Job Title: Freezer Selector with Reach forklift experience/Contratando operador de montacargaJob DescriptionThe Freezer Selector works in a warehouse freezer environment to accurately pick, assemble, and stage customer orders. This role focuses on order fulfillment, safe equipment operation, and inventory support while maintaining productivity and quality standards in sub-zero temperatures.Responsibilities

• Perform order fulfillment by reading work order documents and accurately selecting products from the freezer section. • Assemble products onto pallets in the correct sequence and quantities according to order specifications. • Operate a reach truck to access and move products within the warehouse and freezer areas. • Use electric hand jacks and electric pallet jacks (e-pallet jacks) to transport pallets to and from the staging area. • Wrap completed pallets using a pallet wrapping machine to prepare orders for shipment. • Occasionally support activities in the dry warehouse area, including receiving, loading trucks, and verifying inventory. • Participate in quarterly inventory counts and weekly cycle counts, both manually and using RF scanners. • Follow all safety procedures while working in a -20 degree freezer environment, including proper use of equipment and personal protective gear. • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in both freezer and dry warehouse sections. • Communicate with team members and supervisors to resolve order issues, clarify work orders, and ensure accurate fulfillment. • Consistently meet productivity, accuracy, and quality expectations for order picking and pallet building. Essential Skills

• Ability to work comfortably and consistently in a -20 degree freezer environment. • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis. • Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift. • Experience with order picking and selector duties in a warehouse or distribution environment. • Ability to operate a reach truck safely and efficiently. • Ability to use electric pallet jacks and electric hand jacks to move pallets. • Basic understanding of warehouse distribution processes, including staging and loading. • Ability to read and follow work order papers and written instructions accurately. • Reliability and punctuality to work scheduled hours Monday through Friday. • Ownership of steel toe boots suitable for warehouse work. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a cold or freezer environment. • Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory counts and cycle counting. • Comfort working in both freezer and dry, climate-controlled warehouse areas. • Ability to support receiving, loading trucks, and inventory verification when needed. • Spanish language skills are welcome and can be helpful for communication in the workplace. The standard schedule runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including a half-hour lunch break. The position involves frequent use of electric pallet jacks, electric hand jacks, reach trucks, RF scanners, and a pallet wrapping machine. The work is physically demanding, requiring regular lifting, standing, bending, and twisting. Steel toe boots are required as part of the dress code for safety while working in the warehouse and operating material-handling equipment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of MIRAMAR, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
