The Sanitation worker plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This position focuses on cleaning production equipment, utensils, and manufacturing areas in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs), cGMP requirements, and validation protocols to support high-quality pharmaceutical production. This is a LONG TERM opportunity, offering WEEKLY PAY, and option for company benefits. Responsibilities
• Clean manufacturing areas, including production equipment, utensils, and suites, in accordance with SOPs and cGMP standards. • Assemble and disassemble all manufacturing equipment to perform thorough cleaning and sanitation. • Prepare cleaning and sanitation agents as specified in SOPs, ensuring correct mixing, labeling, and safe handling. • Refill 99% IPA and 70% IPA as needed for the manufacturing department, following all safety and documentation requirements. • Clean utensils and manufacturing equipment used in the production process, apply equipment status tags, and accurately document cleaning activities in the appropriate logbooks. • Move all cleaned equipment and utensils to the assigned staging area, ensuring items are properly organized and ready for use. • Clean manufacturing equipment parts and document each cleaning activity in their respective logbooks in compliance with SOPs. • Collaborate with the Validation department to clean manufacturing equipment and parts according to validation protocols and schedules. • Clean manufacturing suites as required, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across all production areas. • Sweep and mop floors, and wipe clean edges, sills, doors, and other surfaces to maintain a tidy and sanitary environment. • Apply cleaning solutions to floors, ceilings, walls, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment such as mops, sponges, and other tools. • Ensure the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions, strictly adhering to all safety precautions and guidelines. • Perform all cleaning responsibilities independently with limited oversight while maintaining accuracy and compliance. • Consistently follow all pharmaceutical cGMPs, SOPs, batch records, and training documents to ensure ongoing quality compliance. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
