Job Title: Superintendent Cooling Tower / HVACJob DescriptionThe Superintendent oversees construction, repair, cleaning, and maintenance activities for cooling towers and related HVAC systems. This role leads field crews on job sites, ensures work is completed safely and efficiently, and prepares all required daily, time, and close-out documentation for each project. Responsibilities • Oversee construction and repair projects related to cooling towers and HVAC systems from start to finish. • Supervise field crews on-site, providing direction, support, and coordination of daily activities. • Perform and oversee cleaning and maintenance of cooling towers, ensuring proper mechanical and service standards are met. • Monitor job progress, quality, and safety compliance throughout each project. • Prepare accurate daily reports and time reports for all crew members and activities. • Compile and submit complete final close-out documentation at the end of each project. • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including confined space procedures, fall protection, fit testing, and gas monitoring requirements. • Coordinate with project stakeholders to align schedules, resolve issues, and meet project timelines. • Support troubleshooting of mechanical and service issues on cooling towers and associated HVAC equipment. • Travel frequently to job sites across the West and Northwest regions and adapt to varying indoor and outdoor work conditions. Essential Skills • Proven experience working in the HVAC or cooling tower industry. • Hands-on experience performing cleaning and maintenance of cooling towers. • Strong mechanical aptitude and service-oriented skills related to cooling tower and HVAC equipment. • Demonstrated ability to oversee construction and repair activities in an industrial or mechanical setting. • Experience supervising field crews and coordinating on-site work. • Ability to prepare clear and accurate daily reports, time reports, and project close-out documentation. • OSHA 10 certification. • Training or certification in confined space safety. • Knowledge and application of fall protection practices. • Ability to successfully complete and work under fit testing requirements, including wearing a mask for the entire shift. • Experience with gas monitoring procedures and equipment. • Willingness and ability to travel frequently out of town across the West and Northwest regions. Assignments that are 60 miles or more from the home address are eligible for per diem. The environment is safety-driven, requiring adherence to OSHA 10 standards, confined space procedures, fall protection, fit testing, and gas monitoring. The position requires wearing a mask for the entire shift and working around mechanical and HVAC equipment in active construction and maintenance settings. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Las Vegas, NV. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
