Job Title: High-Rise Commercial PainterJob DescriptionThis role focuses on exterior restoration, painting, and waterproofing of commercial high-rise buildings in Downtown Dallas. You will work at significant heights using swing stages and suspended scaffolding to access building exteriors, delivering high-quality, durable finishes while maintaining strict safety standards.Responsibilities

• Perform exterior commercial painting on high-rise buildings using brushes, rollers, and appropriate commercial paint coatings, sealants, and waterproofing products. • Prepare building surfaces by scraping, sanding, cleaning, patching, caulking, pressure washing, and priming to ensure proper adhesion and long-lasting results. • Apply waterproofing, sealing, and weatherproofing systems to building exteriors to protect the structure and maintain the building envelope. • Follow project specifications, plans, and instructions to achieve consistent quality finishes and long-term durability of coatings and sealants. • Inspect surfaces and identify areas requiring repair, additional preparation, or corrective work before and after painting or waterproofing. • Perform surface repair as needed, including patching and caulking, to prepare substrates for coatings and sealants. • Operate swing stages, suspended scaffolding, and bosuns chairs safely and efficiently to access various elevations on high-rise structures. • Use boom lifts, lift equipment, and related access tools in accordance with safety guidelines and inspection requirements. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are stored and handled properly. • Follow OSHA safety regulations and company safety procedures at all times, including proper use of fall protection and other safety equipment. • Work effectively as part of a crew, coordinating tasks and communicating clearly to meet project schedules and production goals. • Adapt to different climate and weather conditions while working outdoors and maintain attention to detail in all tasks. • Support general contractor and project requirements by completing assigned tasks on time and to specified quality standards. Essential Skills

• Previous experience as a commercial painter, with hands-on experience in exterior commercial painting projects. • Experience working on mid-rise or high-rise commercial buildings and comfort working at heights. • Proficiency in using swing stages, suspended scaffolding, bosuns chairs, and similar high-rise access equipment. • Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques, including scraping, sanding, cleaning, patching, caulking, pressure washing, and priming. • Ability to apply commercial paint coatings, sealants, and waterproofing products using brushes, rollers, and appropriate tools. • Understanding of exterior painting techniques and building envelope maintenance principles. • Ability to safely use hand tools, painting equipment, lift equipment, and scaffolding in compliance with safety standards. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, durable workmanship. • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and climate conditions while maintaining productivity and safety. • Reliable transportation to and from job sites and dependable attendance. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow project specifications and safety procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with waterproofing systems, including caulking, sealants, and weatherproofing applications on commercial exteriors. • Experience in applying elastomeric coatings, waterproof coatings, and commercial exterior sealants. • Experience on commercial restoration or exterior façade projects, including repair and maintenance of building exteriors. • Familiarity with lift inspection procedures and safe operation of boom lifts and other aerial equipment. • Ability to perform detailed surface repair work to support long-lasting coating and waterproofing performance. The initial schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for the first several weeks. Team members who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and a commitment to safety may transition to an extended schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with additional overtime opportunities available on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Work is performed outdoors in varying weather and climate conditions, using swing stages, suspended scaffolding, bosuns chairs, boom lifts, and other lift and access equipment. The environment emphasizes strict adherence to OSHA regulations and safety procedures, with a focus on maintaining a clean, organized, and professional job site. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
