Job Title: Clean Up Crew WorkerJob DescriptionThe Clean Up Crew Worker plays a key role in maintaining safe, clean, and organized construction and industrial sites by removing waste, performing general clean-up tasks, and supporting site operations. This position involves working at multiple locations, including manufacturing and construction environments, and occasionally requires the use of full personal protective equipment such as a full body suit and respirator. Responsibilities • Dispose of waste and debris safely and efficiently across various construction and industrial sites. • Perform general clean-up duties, including sweeping, trash removal, and site tidying to maintain a clean and organized work area. • Support construction and manufacturing operations through general labor tasks as directed by site supervisors. • Use hand tools and basic equipment to assist with clean-up and related labor-intensive tasks. • Work in confined or tight spaces when required, following all safety procedures and guidelines. • Handle chemicals in accordance with training, safety regulations, and site-specific protocols. • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including respirators and full body suits (bunny suits) when required at specific sites. • Follow HAZWOPER training and procedures to perform work safely in environments where hazardous materials may be present. • Adhere to all site safety rules, policies, and procedures, including reporting hazards or unsafe conditions. • Work extended shifts of 812 hours and occasional overtime, including some Saturdays, to meet project and site needs. • Collaborate with team members and site personnel to complete clean-up and labor tasks on schedule. • Maintain a high level of reliability and punctuality, arriving at early morning start times between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Essential Skills • Experience in general labor or construction labor, including physically demanding and labor-intensive roles. • Background in cleaning, janitorial work, or site clean-up in industrial or construction environments. • Ability and willingness to wear a respirator when required. • Ability and willingness to wear a full body protective suit (bunny suit) when required. • Comfort working in tight and confined spaces. • Ability to work 10+ hour days as needed, including some Saturdays. • Willingness to complete 40 hours of HAZWOPER training. • Basic proficiency with hand tools used in construction and clean-up tasks. • Ability to perform sweeping, trash removal, and general clean-up duties consistently. • Capability to handle chemicals safely once training is provided. • Reliability in maintaining early morning start times and a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience working in a manufacturing environment (training provided if needed). • Exposure to construction sites and familiarity with construction processes. • Prior HAZWOPER experience or certification is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided. • Interest in obtaining additional certifications related to environmental services, safety, or construction, with support for training and costs. • Willingness to participate in competency-based training programs to develop skills and advance pay. • Motivation to grow within a nationally based organization and potentially move to different locations over time. Work EnvironmentThis role is based on various construction and industrial sites, including manufacturing environments, where conditions can be physically demanding and occasionally involve working in confined spaces. The work is primarily scheduled Monday through Friday, with typical shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours per day and some Saturdays as needed. Start times are early, usually between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., and overtime opportunities are common. The job requires regular use of basic hand tools and frequent sweeping, trash removal, and general clean-up tasks. Depending on the site, employees may need to wear full personal protective equipment, including respirators and full body protective suits, particularly in areas where chemical handling or hazardous materials are present. Some job sites can become extremely hot during the summer months, and not all locations will require full PPE, but employees must be comfortable using it whenever needed. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
