Hydraulic Technician Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMAre you a mechanically inclined individual with experience in hydraulics, automotive repair, machining, or industrial maintenance? We are seeking a Hydraulic Technician to build, assemble, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic power units and fluid power systems in a hands-on shop environment.In this role, you will work from blueprints and hydraulic schematics to assemble motors, pumps, valves, and other hydraulic components. Technicians are assigned projects based on skill level and experience and will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge through cross-training in areas such as hose assembly, aluminum fabrication, and other mechanical operations.Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and build hydraulic power units from blueprints and schematics. • Install and troubleshoot hydraulic components, including pumps, motors, and valves. • Perform light electrical wiring related to motor assemblies. • Utilize hand and power tools to complete assembly and repair tasks. • Assist with occasional welding, fabrication, or painting projects. • Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues and recommend solutions. • Participate in daily production meetings and collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. Qualifications:
• Experience with hydraulics, fluid power systems, or mechanical assembly. • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and hydraulic schematics. • Comfortable working with hand tools and mechanical equipment. • Automotive mechanic, diesel mechanic, machinist, or industrial maintenance experience is highly preferred. • Ability to work safely around hydraulic systems and stored energy. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
