Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionThis role focuses on TIG and MIG welding in a manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on producing high-quality stainless steel equipment. You will use both welding techniques to fabricate and assemble components to precise specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.Responsibilities
• Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel equipment in a manufacturing setting. • Read and interpret basic fabrication instructions, drawings, or layouts to complete welding tasks accurately. • Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment to ensure proper weld quality and consistency. • Fabricate and assemble stainless steel components using appropriate welding techniques and tools. • Inspect welds for quality, strength, and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures. • Work collaboratively with team members in a unionized environment to meet production goals and deadlines. • Use appropriate welding gear and personal protective equipment to ensure safe operation at all times. Essential Skills
• Hands-on experience with TIG welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. • Hands-on experience with MIG welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. • Ability to weld and fabricate stainless steel equipment with consistent quality. • Solid understanding of basic welding safety practices and proper use of welding gear. • Ability to work full shifts on the production floor while meeting quality and productivity expectations. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Any welding certificates are considered a strong asset. • Schooling or formal education in the welding field is a bonus. • Experience working in a unionized manufacturing facility is beneficial. • Prior experience in stainless steel fabrication is an advantage. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
