Available Schedule We are currently hiring a full-time ICU Veterinary Technician / Assistant to join our overnight team: Friday – Sunday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM This position includes an overnight shift premium . As a member of our ICU team, you’ll work alongside our doctors and support staff to provide attentive, high-level care to hospitalized and critically ill patients. Responsibilities may include: Monitoring critical and hospitalized patients and identifying changes in patient status Administering medications and treatments as prescribed Medication administration via IV, IM, SQ, and other appropriate routes Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection Assisting with advanced critical care procedures Monitoring anesthesia and recovering patients Performing diagnostic testing, including chemistries, CBCs, urinalysis, and fecal testing Collecting and appropriately handling blood, urine, and other diagnostic samples Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of treatments, patient status, and changes in overall health Working closely with the medical team to prioritize patient needs and respond to changes quickly Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked ICU
