As a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) , you will play an important role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians and veterinary team. Your responsibilities will include: Communicating effectively with clients, veterinarians, and the veterinary team Providing compassionate client education and support Safely handling and restraining patients Obtaining patient vitals and medical histories Performing venipuncture and placing intravenous catheters Administering medications via PO, SQ, IM, and IV routes Preparing patients for procedures and surgery Assisting with surgical procedures Monitoring patients under anesthesia Performing laboratory testing Assisting with digital radiography and other diagnostic procedures Providing high-quality patient care throughout the veterinary visit Maintaining accurate medical records and following hospital protocols
