Working on one of the 2 Receptions with NCCC-NC.

Main duties of the job
Deal with telephone enquires promptly. Communicate with patients regarding appointments/transport bookings Make Oncology Review Appointments for patients leaving Oncology Outpatients Issuing concessionary parking permits Liaising with NCIC estates on issue contractors passes & keys and parking permits General reception Meet & Greet duties Working within a team of administrative staff supporting the provision of an efficient Administrative support service to the wider Oncology team in NCCC-NC Uploading into Patient Record system - E-record

Person Specification
Qualifications & Education Essential
Minimum of 4 GCSEs, Level A - C, including English Language, or equivalent level qualification or relevant experience OCR I or NVQ L2 Business & Administration or equivalent qualification / experience
Knowledge & Experience Desirable
Previous work experience Understanding of medical terminology
Skills & Abilities Essential
Good IT skills to include office software packages Good keyboard skills and Text Processing ability Good communication skills both written verbal and telephone skills Ability to work without direct supervision Ability to be flexible and work as part of a team Understanding of confidentiality issues
