About this role
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Angular 12+ and Java/Spring Boot to join a major enterprise application modernization and rewrite initiative. This role is a true 50/50 Full Stack position, requiring significant hands-on development experience on both the frontend and backend. We are specifically looking for engineers who have built modern Angular applications while also developing scalable Java-based APIs and microservices using Spring Boot. Candidates who have focused primarily on one side of the stack will not be the best fit. The ideal candidate will have a background in developing enterprise web applications, creating rich user experiences with Angular, and designing robust, high-performance backend services in Java. You will play a critical role in transforming legacy applications into modern, cloud-enabled solutions while collaborating with architects, product owners, and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.Front-End Development (50%)
• Design, develop, and enhance modern web applications using Angular 12+ • Build responsive, scalable, and highly interactive user interfaces utilizing TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular best practices • Develop reusable components, services, and modules within Angular applications • Optimize application performance and user experience across multiple browsers and devices • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful services and backend APIs Back-End Development (50%)
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot • Build scalable REST APIs and microservices supporting critical business functionality • Develop backend services, business logic, and integrations with internal and external systems Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $72.50/hr.
