Duxbuty High School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of building-based Substitute Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. Responsibilities include:
• Providing continuity of instruction in the absence of the regular teacher
• Implementing lesson plans created by the teacher
• Fulfilling other non-instructional duties during the instructional day
• Supporting student learning across all settings
• Perform other such duties as assigned by the building administrator or their designee
Requirements:
• Associate degree
• Experience working with students with and without disabilities
• Flexibility and the ability to collaborate with students, teachers, support staff, and administrators
Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Teacher Certification preferred Salary: $125.00 per/day Schedule: 8:10 AM - 3:55 PM, Monday - Friday This position is eligible to participate in the Town of Duxbury Benefit plans that include health insurance (25% employee contribution), dental insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, vision insurance, pet insurance, accident insurance, cancer insurance, critical illness insurance, prescription drug program, 529 College Savings plan, and an employee assistance program.
