Elementary In-Class Teacher Assistant River Mill Academy | Graham, NC Start Date: November 2, 2026 River Mill Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-focused Elementary In-Class Teacher Assistant to support classroom instruction and student success in grades K-5. Responsibilities Include:
• Assisting the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities
• Working with individual students and small groups
• Supporting classroom management and student engagement
• Supervising students during transitions and other school activities
• Preparing instructional materials and assisting with classroom organization
• Supporting accommodations and interventions as directed by the teacher
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree, completion of at least 48 college credit hours, or WorkKeys certification preferred
• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and families
• Positive attitude and commitment to student success
