Fall Play Production Manager New London Community School District Stipend: $849 Position Purpose The Fall Play Production Manager supports the fall play production, with primary responsibilities occurring during the final two weeks before the fall play, including one scheduled Saturday production workday and all performances. The Production Manager works closely with the director to coordinate production crews, monitor progress, and help ensure that all necessary tasks are completed for a successful production. Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled rehearsals during the final two weeks leading up to the performance.

• Attend and assist with the scheduled Saturday production workday focused on sets, costumes, props, and other production needs.

• Support the director with day-to-day production needs and help keep final preparations organized.

• Check in with student crew leaders and members to monitor progress and ensure assigned responsibilities are completed on schedule.

• Help identify outstanding tasks, communicate priorities, and follow up with students to ensure work is completed.

• Coordinate and monitor production needs related to sets, props, costumes, lights, sound, and backstage operations.

• Help keep students organized and on task during technical rehearsals and dress rehearsals.

• Help ensure props, set pieces, costumes, equipment, and backstage areas are prepared for rehearsals and performances.

• Communicate production needs, concerns, and progress to the director.

• Assist with troubleshooting logistical issues and coordinating final preparations leading up to opening night.

• Be present at all performances to assist with backstage and production coordination.

• Provide encouragement, accountability, and support to students throughout the production process.

Qualifications

• Current New London Community School District licensed teacher.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with the director, students, and production crews.

• Ability to recognize what needs to be done and take initiative to help accomplish it.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.

• Ability to work positively and effectively with high school students.

• Interest in theater production and a willingness to support students throughout the production process.
