Job summary Working with a dedicated urgent care team, you'll help ensure patients receive timely support and a positive experience when accessing urgent treatment services. You'll be an important part of a 24/7 service, supporting both patients and clinical colleagues with a range of administrative and operational tasks. This role combines customer service, administration and practical support. You'll often be the first point of contact for patients, relatives and healthcare professionals, helping services run smoothly and making a real difference to patient care Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore City Health Care Partnership would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role
Main duties of the job What you'll do:
Welcome and support patients, visitors and healthcare professionals Manage appointments, records and information using electronic systems Provide administrative support to help urgent care services run efficiently Assist with stock checks, equipment monitoring and general service upkeep Support clinicians with home visit planning and transport duties where required What we're looking for: Experience providing excellent customer service or working with the public Good administration, keyboard and basic IT skills Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and prioritise tasks effectively A full driving licence and willingness to undertake relevant training, including Basic Life Support We welcome applications from people from all backgrounds and experiences, and we value the different perspectives they bring. Qualifications Essential
Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service or equivalent knowledge and experience Word processing to OCR level 2 standard International Computer Driving License (ICDL) or able to demonstrate high level of keyboard skills and knowledge Current Full Driving Licence Basic Life Support training or willingness to undertake
Knowledge Essential
Knowledge of a range of reception and administration procedures. Standard IT skills including basic knowledge of Microsoft programmes.
Desirable
Knowledge of stock rotation and control procedures

Previous experience working with the general public
