About this role

Job summary This role helps clinical teams by keeping essential stock available, making a real difference to safe patient care. You will work across Primary Care Services, managing supplies so colleagues have the equipment and products they need. You will build positive relationships with teams, suppliers and partners while supporting an efficient, reliable service.

Main duties of the job What you'll do:

Order, receive, store and distribute clinical stock safely and accurately Check stock levels, arrange deliveries and resolve routine supply issues Maintain clear electronic and paper records, following confidentiality requirements Monitor usage, spending and discrepancies, raising concerns when needed Complete stock rotation, medication checks and routine cleaning tasks. What we're looking for: A relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent practical experience Experience of general stock management and routine administrative work Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, email and databases Clear communication, customer service and teamwork skills Good organisation, time management and the ability to prioritise your workload An understanding of safe moving and handling, with flexibility to support different sites. Qualifications Essential

Level 3 qualification in relevant subject or equivalent experience

Desirable

Level 2 Qualification in Computer Literacy e.g. OCR Level 2, ICDL

Knowledge Essential

Comprehensive knowledge of a range of routine administrative procedures. Knowledge of a range of Microsoft Word, Excel, use of email and databases.

Desirable

Analytical Skills Able to demonstrate an understanding of moving and handling techniques

Experience Essential

Previous experience of carrying out general stock management procedures Ability to evidence/demonstrate key values and behaviours in line with the framework e.g the Stock Management SOP

Previous NHS Experience
