Job summary Alton Surgery is looking for a friendly and supportive Locum GP to cover 5 clinical sessions a week for a period of maternity leave for one of our partners, for a minimum of 14 weeks. The role will start mid January 2027. We pride ourselves on being a kind and compassionate practice, serving our small rural population of 2700 patients. You will be joining a well-established multidisciplinary team who put patient centred care at the forefront of their work. Main duties of the job The GP is required to work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care. Sessions are to be delivered as follows: 5 Clinical Sessions of 4hrs 10 minutes and an additional administrative time of 2hrs 20 minutes.
