The Lead Compensation Consultant serves as the resource for executive compensation programs and may provide day-to-day guidance and support to the compensation team. This role partners closely with the Compensation Manager to oversee compensation operations, resolve escalated issues, and ensure compensation programs align with the organization’s total reward strategy. Essential Job Function:
• Leads the analysis of executive and leadership compensation programs, including salary, incentive, and related compensation arrangements. • Serves as the senior compensation advisor for complex compensation matters, providing guidance to leaders, HR Business Partners, and compensation team members. • Provides operational support to the Compensation Manager by prioritizing workloads and ensuring timely resolution of issues. • Leads enterprise-wide compensation initiatives and special projects, including program design, implementation, communication, and change management. • Conducts advanced market analyses, financial modeling, and compensation studies to support executive decision-making and workforce strategies. • Oversees compensation processes and system functionality, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and efficient administration of compensation programs. • Participates in and manage compensation surveys, including data submissions, market data validation, and analysis of survey results to support compensation recommendations and ensure market competitiveness. • Partners with senior leaders and executives to communicate compensation philosophy, practices, and recommendations. • Mentors and supports compensation team members, promoting knowledge sharing, process consistency, and professional development. • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Experience:
• Required: Minimum of 7 years of progressive compensation experience. Experience supporting executive and senior leadership compensation programs.
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
• Preferred: SHRM-CP, PHR, or CCHR, Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
