Position Summary: As a Waitress at our Beach House, you will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they enjoy a relaxed and memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in line with the beach house's laid-back yet professional vibe.
Key Responsibilities:1. Guest Service:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their seats. Provide detailed information about the menu, including daily specials and promotions. Recommend food and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience. Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally. 2. Order Management:
Accurately take food and drink orders using the POS system. Communicate special requests or dietary requirements to the kitchen staff. Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests. 3. Table Maintenance:
Regularly check on tables to ensure guests have everything they need. Clear used dishes and reset tables efficiently for the next guests. 4. Hygiene & Safety:
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations. 5. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations. Assist colleagues during busy periods to ensure excellent service. Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience as a waitress, preferably in a beach or casual dining setting. Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling bills and tips. Flexible with work hours, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements:
