About this role

BryceTech is seeking an Emergency Management Analyst to fill a critical need supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Office of Emerging Threats (OET). OET’s mission requirements focus on identifying, assessing, and informing FEMA and its mission partners about emerging threats that could challenge national response and recovery capabilities. This mission area covers a broad spectrum of evolving hazards, from cyberattacks and climate-driven impacts to advanced weapons technologies, requiring strong analytical support, cross-agency collaboration, and seamless integration of intelligence, data analytics, and risk assessments to drive FEMA operational planning and capability development.

The person in this role will:

Support in communicating, in a systematic and consistent way, with multiple stakeholders about cross-cutting issues and engaging FEMA Leadership, Public Affairs and Congressional Affairs, as needed and as requestedCreate and distribute internal communications on upcoming CBRN policy issues and initiatives to educate FEMA senior leadershipDevelop briefings, presentations, after action reports, video, and graphics support supporting the OET Director or members of the OET Management TeamProvide support in periodic events and informal meetingsMaintain, update, and when needed develop, the FEMA OET internal and external websiteDevelop products such as brochures, kiosks, and visuals to help showcase the Office missionGraphics & Messaging: Supports the Office on social and official messaging, graphics development and video projects as needed to further the CBRN Office objectives as related to the FEMA/CBRN missionSupport the development and delivery of articles to be published in emergency publicationsProvide training and advisement to FEMA employees on regulations, threat analysis documents, and interactions with various emerging threat stakeholdersResearch, analyze, and develop materials for speeches and testimony to be given by FEMA senior leadershipDraft periodic reports covering relevant events that can be shared broadly across FEMAEnsure 508 compliance on all contractor developed videos and documents developed for distribution US Citizenship and ability to obtain DHS Public Trust7+ years of experience in FEMA, emerging threats, or policy analysisBachelors Degree in related fieldExcellent verbal and written communications skillsProficiency with all MS Office product and Adobe AcrobatAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within teams BryceTech offers a full range of benefits, including competitive salary, a comprehensive health plan including dental and vision coverage, company-paid life & disability insurance policies, 401(k) plan with company match, and an educational reimbursement program.
