Your daily work includes:
Setting up cones, signs, and barricades and taking traffic control equipment downUsing a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic, watching traffic and job site activityFollowing all safety rules taught in trainingCommunicating with your crew and supervisorHelping keep vehicles and equipment clean and safeWork is outside all year, in all weatherShifts may change based on job needs: Some nights, weekends, or emergency work may be requiredYou may stand or walk 8 to 12 hours per shiftWe give you a hard hat, safety goggles, a safety vest, safety whistle, walkie talkie, and cold/hot weather gear: you bring your own steel toe safety shoes that go above the ankle. Valid driver’s licenseAble to stand, walk, and work outside for long periodsAble to lift 40–60 poundsWilling to work in traffic and changing weatherFlexible schedule; Show up on time, every shiftMust pass a drug test (this is a safety job)Stay alert around moving traffic and follow all safety rules all the timeTreat coworkers, clients, and the public with respect WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Field – based role; hours vary based on workload and project needsMust be able to lift 60lbs and stand 8-12 hours dailyWork outdoors in all weather conditionsMust wear steel/composite toe bootsExposure to traffic, construction sites, dust, asphalt, and loud noiseAbility to perform physical labor including lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying objects.BENEFITS
