About this role

Lead a small crew in planning and executing daily traffic control operations.Communicate clearly with your team to ensure safe and efficient work zones. Set up, Maintain, and remove traffic control devices, while monitoring work zones to ensure safe traffic flow and proper placement of lane closuresInspect work zone to confirm proper placement of signs, barricades, and other traffic control devices to comply with state regulationsProviding outstanding service and protection to customers and publicProtect the company’s employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices.Become a subject matter expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging. Other duties as assigned. 1-2+ years of experience preferred in an outdoor safety-focused environment, such as:

MilitaryConstructionUtilitiesRoad MaintenanceHeavy Equipment or Skilled OperatorsExperience leading small crews, enforcing safety rules, and interacting with customersOR

1-2+ Years Traffic Control Experience / ATSSA Certificate

TCT/TCS Certification preferred but not required at time of hire

Minimum of 1 year driving experience or comparable driving experience (TMA, Box Truck, construction hauling etc.)Able to Read/Interpret Blueprints preferredOSHA 10/30 a plusValid state driver's license Must be able to pass pre-employment screening for this Safety Sensitive position, including a drug test. Field – based role; hours vary based on workload and project needsMust be able to lift 60lbs and stand 8-12 hours dailyWork outdoors in all weather conditionsMust wear steel/composite toe bootsExposure to traffic, construction sites, dust, asphalt, and loud noiseAbility to perform physical labor including lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying objects.Benefits

Pay $17.50-$21/hr.
