About this role

Provide the highest level of customer service and satisfactionCommunicate and interact with customers as well as internal team members to ensure proper order status, delivery arrangements, and serviceReceive any incoming customer service calls and emailsSchedule and coordinate all service calls and adjust drivers’ daily schedules as requiredMonitor drivers throughout the day via the dispatch systemCreate the next day driver schedule ensuring customer needs are metAdd new customer jobs and tickets to the computer system (TCR)Conduct job service checks for jobs that have been out for 30 days or moreComplete a “final edit” of each job ensuring the ticket has all the required information for billingInteract and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all levels of employees, management, vendors, customers, and external partnersPerform other functions as necessary or as assigned High School Diploma or Equivalent1-2 years of experience; or any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilitiesStrong leadership skills to ensure drivers’ compliance with direction and assignmentsBasic understanding of the geographical area and mapping programs to facilitate efficient routingProficient or able to quickly learn dispatch and record-keeping systems such as Paylocity and TCRGeneral Windows Office Suite experience- Email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Ability to work independently with little instruction and adapt to change at a fast pace and under pressureHigh integrity and a strong work conceptAbility to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness.High degree of energy, self-motivation, and flexibility Proven ability to work collaboratively with othersExcellent communication and time management skillsStrong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude AWP named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces 2023 and 2025 for DiversitySalary range $21-$25/hour40–50 hours per week, including mandatory on-call coverage as part of scheduled responsibilities, with compensation as applicableComprehensive benefits package including three medical plan options and two dental plan options, along with additional benefits such as Legal and Identity Shield, Accident, and Critical Illness coverage.Eligibility for benefits starts on the 1st of the month following your hire date.Company-paid life insurance coverage.Company-paid long-term disability (LTD) insurance.Availability of Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).Participation in the 401(k) retirement plan.Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.AWP Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
