About this role
We are looking for an Industrial Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This is a permanent full-time position on the evening shift, Monday through Thursday, from 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Your Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, adjustments, alignment, and servicing of various equipment, including:ConveyorsCrushersShreddersVibrating tablesHydraulic systemsPressesDiagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failuresInspect parts for wear and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systemsTest repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and complianceCollaborate in troubleshooting and implementing improvements to increase equipment efficiencyPerform installation and upgrade work for new machinery and equipmentComplete work orders and follow up as requiredMaintain a clean and safe work environmentWork safely and in compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures To Join Our Team
Strong experience in the maintenance, repair, and adjustment of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, crushers, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and pressesAbility to diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failures, and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systemsSkilled in testing equipment to verify performance meets standards after repair or replacementAbility to collaborate in problem-solving efforts to improve equipment efficiency and functionalityKnowledge of safety procedures, including maintaining a clean workplace, complying with occupational health and safety regulations, and performing work safely Permanent, full-time positionEvening shift: Monday to Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.$2/hour evening shift premiumOvertime paid after 40 hoursAmerican Iron & Metal (AIM) and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
