At Countryview Short Breaks / Respite Service, we provide life-changing short breaks for children and young people aged 5-18 with learning disabilities. For the children and young people who stay with us, it's an opportunity to build confidence, make friends, enjoy new experiences and grow in independence. For families, it's the reassurance of knowing their loved one is safe, supported and having fun while they take a well-deserved break.
Your new role
We're looking for caring, skilled and committed Intensive Support Practitioners (Nightshift) to join our dedicated team.
Throughout the night, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing and supportive environment where children and young people can rest comfortably and feel secure. Every shift is an opportunity to make a genuine difference, not only to the young people staying with us, but also to the families who rely on our service. Your will work on a rota pattern - flexibility will be key to be able to work 2/3 nightshift per week across 7 days.

To join our team, you'll have:
An SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) and be willing to work towards an HNC if not already achieved. OR
An HNC and be willing to work towards achieving your SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People). Above all, you'll be passionate about improving the lives of children and young people and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
