About this role
We are seeking an experienced and highly structured LNG & LNG-to-Power IPP Bid Manager (Technical) to lead developer-side bid preparation and project development support for LNG-to-Power and Gas IPP projects across Asia, the Middle East, and emerging markets.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, interface with commercial structuring, and project bankability. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing technical design assumptions to develop competitive, bankable IPP bid submissions.
The position requires strong coordination with technical teams, financial advisors, sponsors, EPC contractors, and lenders.
Qualifications:
10- 12 years of experience in the LNG, Oil & Gas (O&G) industryBachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering + MBAKey Responsibilities
IPP Bid Preparation & CoordinationLead and develop LNG-to-Power and Gas IPP competitive bid documents, reportsStructure and compile complete technical and commercial proposal volumesEnsure compliance with RFP and tender requirementsDevelop bid strategy aligned with sponsor objectivesCoordinate multidisciplinary inputs across engineering, commercial, and financial teamsTechnical Integration & DevelopmentDefine overall LNG-to-Power configuration (FSRU / Onshore Terminal + CCGT)Establish key technical parameters, including:Plant capacity and configurationAvailability guaranteesHeat rate assumptionsLNG storage and regasification capacityIdentify interface risks between the LNG terminal and the power plantAlign engineering assumptions with financial model requirementsIPP Project Development Develop early-stage feasibility studies Support site assessment and configuration optimizationParticipate in sponsor discussions and project strategy developmentAssist in the development of bankable project documentationDirect involvement in at least 2–3 IPP bidding cycles (developer-side preferred)Experience coordinating financial model inputs with technical assumptionsExposure to LNG-to-Power or Gas-to-Power projectsExperience in Asia, Middle East, or emerging markets preferredExperience interfacing with lenders and financial advisors strongly preferred Additional Information
