About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Category Manager to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings across specific procurement categories.

Develop and execute category-specific procurement strategies aligned with organizational goalsConduct market analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvementLead strategic sourcing initiatives and manage complex contract negotiationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholdersAnalyze spend data and market trends to optimize procurement decisionsImplement and manage category-specific KPIs and performance metricsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with business needsStay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain managementMentor and guide junior team members in procurement processes and strategiesEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldMinimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain managementProven track record in managing specific procurement categories (e.g., IT, facilities, professional services)Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship managementProficiency in cost analysis, spend analysis, and implementing cost reduction strategiesAdvanced skills in category management and supply chain optimizationExperience with procurement software such as SAP Ariba or Oracle ProcurementAdvanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsProfessional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) preferredIn-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trendsUnderstanding of global supply markets and sourcing strategiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environmentWillingness to travel as required for supplier meetings and industry events Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:
